Membership Directory Listing

Membership entitles you to a free listing in our Membership Directory with a hot link to your website*, access to research and printed materials from TTC and the University of Houston, participation in UCT program planning, networking at our general membership meetings, and participation on various UCTA committees.

UCT

The UCTA is a co-sponsor of UCT, the Underground Construction Technology International Conference & Exhibition. UCTA sponsors and develops a portion of the educational program for this annual event. It also promotes conventional and trenchless construction and rehabilitation methods, education and training from its booth at UCT, as well as the capabilities and experience of its members.

Donations

The UCTA annually donates funds to the Trenchless Technology Center at Louisiana Tech University, gaining a seat on the TTC's Industrial Advisory Board. Also, The UCTA donates funds annually to CIGMAT (Center for Innovative Grouting Materials and Technology) at the University of Houston.

Meetings

UCTA sponsors bi-monthly general membership meetings held the first Tuesday of the month at the Houston Engineering Scientific Society building, which are luncheon meetings. At each meeting, a keynote speaker addresses issues pertinent to the growing trenchless industry. Publications, papers, articles and other types of information are provided to attendees at each meeting. The UCTA Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award is honored at a special luncheon ceremony at the UCT Conference each year. UCTA members may qualify for a free subscription to Underground Construction.

PDH's Available

UCTA's semi monthly meetings are a course or activity with a clear purpose and objective, which will maintain, improve, or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to a Professional Engineer's field of practice. As a license holder, these meetings may be used to meet PDH (Professional Development Hour) of CEP activity. They are eligible for one (1) credit hour each for a total of 6 PDH's annually.
